Lola Vann McDowell

Lola McDowell is a literacy coach with 57 years of experience in education. She taught in multiple public school districts in Virginia for 47 years and has supervised student teachers for the last 10 years at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has served in the board of directors of the Richmond Education Association and the Virginia Education Association. She is also the current coordination for Read Across America for Richmond Public Schools.
