Shannon Jones 

Shannon Jones has worked in education for almost twenty years as a classroom teacher, adjunct instructor, supervisor of student teachers and textbook author and reviewer. She joined the ExCELL team as a literacy coach in 2019 and has a Master’s in Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University. Shannon is a reading specialist who enjoys empowering teachers to make decisions on best practices in their classrooms. ​
